Identity and Site Design
JournoTwit is a revolutionary new Twitter client primarily aimed at journalists, bloggers and media professionals. I was required to reskin their existing application and give their branding an overhaul.
JournoTwit is a new Twitter client that automatically sorts your tweets into specified columns, such as News, Photos, Statuses, Audio, Chatter, etc. Their current application was looking dated and was simply knocked together quickly. I was commissioned to redesign the logo, reskin the website and give the application an overhaul.
The existing markup had to remain intact, so I worked entirely with images and CSS to achieve the look of the new website. JournoTwit is a service of JustFDI, another example of my work.
Ben has done some incredible work for us on various projects and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. He created some great initial ideas from a product description alone, but then by listening to our feedback he made them superb. He's a talented designer, but with a coding background too - we were confident that his designs would co-ordinate well with our developers whilst stay standards compliant.
